Hi and welcome to my blog! My name is Isabel and I live in Ottawa, Canada with my little dog, Thor. I love reading, doing yoga and trying new foods. I used to work as a travel/events writer for a magazine before switching to do general communications.
I used to read often as a child, but stopped when I was in high school. It wasn’t until May, 2019, when I stumbled upon some really amazing Throne of Glass fan art on Pinterest that my love for books resurfaced. I went out the next day to buy a Kobo (and all of the books in the ToG and ACoToR series) and haven’t stopped reading since!
Thor came into my life in 2018 when I fell in love with him the second he came into Freedom Dog Rescue, where I have been volunteering since 2015. He started off as a patchy, skinny dog with a tonne of health issues. Today, he is 20lbs of diva and just adores being the centre of attention. He enjoys people watching and starting off his mornings with cuddles!
